2025 Woodside Soapbox Derby
Sunday, May 4
The Annual Soapbox Derby will be held on May 4. There are a limited number of car kits left, so don’t delay! If you have a car that you won’t be using this year, please let me know, and we’ll find a new home for it.

June 4-7
The 2025 8th grade graduating class will perform Moana Jr. in Woodside School's annual Operetta. Information, show times, and ticket sales are coming soon. Check out the  History of the Woodside Operetta HERE!

WESD's School Wellness Policy is being worked on by our Wellness Committee. We encourage the general public and school community (including parents, students, and representatives of the school food authority, teachers of physical education, school health professionals, the school board, and school administrators) to participate in the District's wellness policy process. If you would like to provide input, contact Nurse Abbe or Director of Business Hanwool Kim. 

 

 

Tickets & Meals: Please help us plan by ordering your Carnival wristbands and Buck's BBQ meal tickets - order here (deadline is Wed., April 30!) and then pick up your wristbands and tickets at Will Call the day of the event.

 

Carnival Wristbands $25 - Purchase for participating children only. Wristbands allow full access to our hometown Carnival, boasting classic carnival table games, cotton candy, a giant inflatable obstacle course, face painting, and more. Play games, earn tickets and exchange tickets for prizes in the prize room.

 

Buck’s BBQ meal tickets – all meals $15 – support the 7th grade Operetta fund and purchase a delicious Buck’s meal served by earnest 7th graders. All meals include chips and drinks. Options include: smash cheeseburger, beet and apple salad, hot dog/chili dog, and vegetarian chili. The only way to guarantee you eat at the event is to preorder by April 30.

It's time for our annual Woodside School Survey (English) (Spanish). With the help of Woodside School’s Site Council and the School Board, the district is eager to hear your thoughts. Your feedback and comments are essential to help us shape and improve our school and shape the next steps. We've streamlined the survey, and it should take no more than 9 minutes to complete. Responses will remain anonymous, so we strongly encourage you to take the time to provide as much detail as possible. The survey can be easily accessed on a mobile device. No Dogs on Campus
Please do not bring your dogs to campus at ANYTIME — including after-school sports teams/clubs using the WES field, weekends and summer break. This is a school policy and large signs are posted at the entrances to campus. We have had a significant problem with dog waste on our fields and campus. It is also important to provide a clean and safe environment for our students, especially those with allergies and animal fears. Please use our beautiful Woodside trails to walk your dogs. Student assessments for some grades start this week. Please keep in mind the upcoming assessment dates for each grade level provided below and make sure that your students are present on those days, as rescheduling is difficult.  Student Assessments 

Wild Wild WES Grand Auction — Catalog & Ticket Sales!
Sat., May 17 
Yeehaw! Our Grand Auction Online Catalog was sent home on Friday with your youngest WES student! If you didn't receive a catalog or need an extra, please stop by the Foundation office or email wsf@woodsideschool.us. 

The online auction runs from 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, and closes at 10:00 PM on Thursday, May 15. Register for the auction in advance and start selecting your favorites before the bidding starts!

And don't forget to BUY YOUR TICKETS for our Grand Auction on Saturday, May 17. Cocktails and live music begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a seated dinner and live auction at 7pm. Time's a wastin' - buy your tickets today!
